The 4th Hong Kong GroovyInter-School
Composition Competition Award Ceremony

Kindergarten students (parent-child participation), primary school students, and secondary school students (teachers are also welcome to participate)

Music is the best way to nurture creativity. The Groovy music software lowers the barrier to creation, allowing students to easily express their emotions and individuality. This is especially true for students from special schools, who can also unleash their boundless creativity through Groovy.

This competition specifically features the "Groovy Music Creation Workshop," designed by Dr. Leung Chi-hin from the Education University of Hong Kong, China. The workshop helps students gradually master music creation skills.

Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH)

(All primary, secondary, and kindergarten students across Hong Kong)

The "ICH Hub" is funded by the Intangible Cultural Heritage Funding Scheme of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD). It is a dynamic program designed to engage students through diverse activities, fostering a fun and interactive environment for them to explore the various types, history, and cultural significance of intangible cultural heritage (ICH).

The initiative aims to guide students from awareness to understanding, and from understanding to appreciation, ultimately inspiring a sense of responsibility and confidence in preserving these traditions.

Organized by the Intangible Cultural Heritage Office from March 2025 to February 2027, with planning by the Hong Kong UNESCO Association, the program will be hosted at the Hong Kong Intangible Cultural Heritage Centre (located in the Sam Tung Uk Museum, Tsuen Wan). Through a series of interactive educational activities, it seeks to deepen students' knowledge and interest in Hong Kong's ICH.
